This is the privacy policy of The Beach House Carreg Las. In this document, “we”, “our”, or “us” refer to The Beach House Carreg Las. Our office is at Rose Cottage, Hawkeswell Lane, Coleshill, Birmingham, B46 3JG. We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. For any personal data you provide for the purposes of your booking, Bev Walker-Pugh is responsible for storing and otherwise processing that data in a fair, lawful, secure and transparent way.

Introduction

This is a notice to inform you of our policy about all information that we record about you. It sets out the conditions under which we may process any information that we collect from you, or that you provide to us. It covers information that could identify you (“personal information”) and information that could not. In the context of the law and this notice, “process” means collect, store, transfer, use or otherwise act on information.
We take seriously the protection of your privacy and confidentiality. We understand that all guests are entitled to know that their personal data will not be used for any purpose unintended by them, and will not accidentally fall into the hands of a third party.
We undertake to preserve the confidentiality of all information you provide to us, and hope that you reciprocate.

Except as set out below, we do not share, or sell, or disclose to a third party, any information collected from you.

What personal data we hold on you

You may give us information about you by corresponding with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise. This includes information you provide when you make a booking. The information you give us may include your name, date of birth, address, e-mail address, phone numbers and bank details for returning security deposits. We may also ask for other data as required from time to time.

Why we need your personal data

The reason we need your personal data is to be able to administer your booking and provide the services you require. Our lawful basis for processing your personal data is that we have a contractual obligation to you as a guest to provide the services you request.

Guest booking management to include processing of refunds of security deposits.

Who we share your personal data with

We do not share your data with any third parties with the exception of our housekeeping team. If you do not wish your name only to be shared with this team, please email bev.walker@icloud.com.

How long we hold your personal data

We will hold your personal data on file for two years after your stay and this will then be destroyed securely.

Your rights regarding your personal data

As a data subject you may have the right at any time to request access to, rectification or erasure of your personal data. As a data subject you are not obliged to share your personal data with us. If you choose not to share your personal data with us we will not be able to proceed with your booking.

Sending a message to us

When you contact us, whether by telephone or by e-mail, we collect the data you have given to us in order to reply with the information you need. We record your request and our reply in order to increase the efficiency of our business. We keep personally identifiable information associated with your message, such as your name and email address so as to be able to track our communications with you to provide a high quality service.

Access to your personal information

At any time you can obtain a copy of any information that we hold about you by sending us a request at bev.walker@icloud.com. After receiving the request, we will tell you when we expect to provide you with the information, and whether we require any fee for providing it to you.

Verification of your information

When we receive any request to access, edit or delete personal identifiable information we shall first take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting you access or otherwise taking any action. This is important to safeguard your information.

How you can complain

If a dispute is not settled then we hope you will agree to attempt to resolve it by engaging in good faith with us in a process of mediation or arbitration. If you are in any way dissatisfied about how we process your personal information, you have a right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office. We may update this privacy policy from time to time as necessary. We advise you to print a copy for your records.
